No puppy under 4 month of age is allowed on the showground.
No Terrier under 4 months of age may be offered for sale at any show.
Terriers may only be registered by fully paid up members.
Terriers belonging to individual overseas members may not be registered with this Club unless already registered with an affiliated club in their own country, should such a club exist. If no affiliated club exists registration will be acceptable.
Members and affiliated members are expected to abide by the NWTF Code of Conduct for Terrier work.
Any member being actively involved in opposition to field sports will be asked to resign from this club.
A person judging a Club Show must be a fully paid up member of the JRTCGB or an affiliate.
Competitors at Regional Shows or the National Show will not be allowed to exhibit any terrier bred by the judge or any of his / her immediate family, partners or passed on by them.
The Jack Russell Terrier Club of Great Britain’s definition of a Conflicting Organisation is: Any Jack Russell Terrier Club that is registered with a KC or FCI related organisation.
A Jack Russell Terrier cannot be registered with the JRTCGB, if already registered with another non -affiliated organisation.
No JRTCGB member may permit their Jack Russell Terrier to participate, or
participate themselves in any Jack Russell Terrier related event or activity, connected in any way to a Conflicting Organisation.
Jack Russell Terriers registered with a Conflicting Organisation cannot be shown at a JRTCGB event.
Pedigrees/Certificates of Breeding: The National Committee will consider it a case of serious misconduct for any person to knowingly give false information relating to the breeding, parentage or ancestry of any Jack Russell Terrier whether registered or not. Anyone doing so will be considered in breach of the Constitution, Rule 4, item i and will be dealt with as per Rule 6.
Any breach of the Constitution and/or Byelaws of the JRTCGB may result in the suspension of the person/s membership pending an enquiry by the National Committee under Rule 5 of the club’s Constitution.
NOTE: Rule 4 in the Byelaws does not apply in the case of terriers originating in the UK. In a case such as this, Rule 6 in the Rules of Affiliation should be adhered to.
